Student Involvement
The Walleye Watch requires many volunteers in order for it to happen. Enter Dave Mowat. He has gotten many of his HHSS students to volunteer many evenings carrying out the watch. This includes such tasks as:
- Making fish counts at regular intervals
- Watching for spawning activities
- Taking the temperature before observations
- Recording the weather conditions
The program has run sucessfully for two years now, and this will hopefully continue for years to come.
