TLAC 2010 – Student Applications are now available!
What is TLAC? TLAC is an arts camp for Grade 7 through 12 students that will take place for 1 week in May 2010! TLAC camp has been in operation since 2003. It offers specialized instruction for Music, Drama, Music Theatre, Dance, and Visual Art within an exciting camp experience. The arts camp is set up as a typical high school day with 4 periods. Students attending have proficient skills in either instrumental music, music theatre, dance, or visual arts. There are nightly evening concerts featuring performances from major artists, a presentation from a local visual artist and art display. The enriched arts experience is enhanced by the summer camp atmosphere.

Applications are accepted on a first come completed, first served basis. A waiting list will be kept for any forms received over and above our maximum capacity. Applications that are not complete will be returned, so take your time and complete all sections accurately! This year’s program is looking even more energized than last year!

The Health Unit wants to remind students that Lindsay has a Sexual Health Clinic open 2 days a week.
The Clinic provides CONFIDENTIAL services such as: low cost birth control, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, free condoms and free pregnancy testing and counselling. A great place to go for information and counselling for any sexual health question or concern.
Look for posters in Guidance or for more information and the phone number to book an appointment.

$26,000 is available to eligible players, coaches, trainers, officials.
The Ontario Hockey Federation Bursary Program was established to provide financial assistance to registered participants including players, trainers, and officials to help offset the cost of post-secondary education. All students who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a Canadian post-secondary institution are eligible to receive bursary funds. Details: www.ohf.on.ca or contact Melissa Wolk at 416-426-7258.
