Community Involvement

Community Involvement

Volunteers

Volunteers are a welcomed and appreciated support system in the schools of Trillium Lakelands District School Board. Please read A Guide For Volunteers to learn more about this win-win proposition.

Community Members
We depend on community volunteers to help in our schools with nutrition programs, pediculosis checks, and fundraising activities such as fun nights, raffles, and sales.

If you are interested in volunteering, contact your local school to find out about opportunities that exist.

Business Owners
Cooperative Education is a highlight of our secondary school program, giving students a chance to experience the world of work while still safely immersed in the school environment. Our students range in interests and abilities – and one may be just right to work and learn with you.

To find out about Co-op opportunities, contact your local Secondary School or call Sonja Vandermeer, Education Services Coordinator, at (705) 328-2925
