Founded in 1997, the Virtual Learning Centre (VLC) remains Ontario’s first operational online secondary school. The VLC provides equitable access to program for Trillium Lakelands students, and to students from outside of our district, Province and Country.

The VLC course library includes over 65 secondary credit courses and students can apply for program using the convenient online registration form. Once enrolled, students benefit from teacher mediated curriculum supported by an online counseling service and full text electronic library.

As the VLC program expands, so do the range of e-learning opportunities for staff and students in TLDSB.
