A quilt. What is there about a quilt that endures?
There is nothing intrinsic in the materials, and no single block
or pattern is superior to another. Yet something happens when the
patches are joined together. Unique traits emerge and character
strengths develop. When the binding and quilting process are complete,
lasting relationships have been formed. The distinctive cushioned
design holds tight through the test of time.
The F.F.S.S. Quilt is the result a co-operative endeavour
drawing expertise from the Northern Victoria County school district,
as well as from the students and staff of Fenelon Falls Secondary
School. Thanks are owed to all involved.
Special thanks to the all our local Women's Institutes.
Thanks also to Gayle Atkin, Joan Weir and Jacqy
Howard
